Problematic to render and rebuild when needed... but too pretty to die. One of my favourites.
Took a long time to render. Sometimes the textures and 3D don't appear as good as they are.
Made for a challenge in the Ultrafractal mailing list.
Maybe a gnarl. I think its parameter was lost.
Despite the appearance it's not a flame fractal.
A very old one, started in Fractint and was one of the few I tried to load in Ultrafractal, then something else was added.
It was hard to add a mask to the "sun" in this one...
Faces and self-similarity
Maybe named after the colouring mode. Probably there was a first version. Not very interesting.
A Juliaset spiral I think, was once a flower.
