These are the galleries of images made with Mandelbulb 3D. Click on the gallery sample image to load the gallery you want, then click on the image you want to see. There will be around 26 images on each gallery, it might change to reduce the number of galleries. No post-processing was used other than adding a watermark to the images, there’s no AI interference of any kind as usual. No images were made with other 3D softwares like Mandelbulber.
Some images were made for certain “contests” (named “Challenges”) in a fractal group in Facebook dedicated to the Mandelbulb 3D images which I participate in, hence they usually don’t have individual names… yet. Some weren’t uploaded to these contests at all, and some might have more than just one version.
Mandelbulb 3D also has some interesting features which I don’t use very often, one of them is something called “Monte Carlo” rendering or MC Render. It is supposed to render the “correct” lights (really?) for a scene, and it takes a while to be finished. Sometimes the renders in both formats look quite different, sometimes they look the same, sometimes they look much worse. I have made just a few of MC renders, and if both renders have a nice look, I’ll probably post both renders of that image maybe at the same gallery or in different galleries but naming the image properly to indicate the MC version.
A few images that are not in a standard size (usually smaller) are like that because or they take a long time to render and/or they don’t benefit from being rendered bigger or are just samples of some technique or formula combination.
